A generated clause or risk flag is a suggestion to investigate. AI can omit an issue, misread a document or invent a legal reference. Review the underlying document and current authority before relying on an output.

The scope can include the firm’s own approved clause library and version history. It does not include a claimed Yes AI legal team, a pre-verified library of thousands of clauses or a guarantee that every legal requirement is detected.

Confidentiality, privilege and execution need legal review

Do not upload privileged or confidential material until the firm has approved the provider, access permissions, processing locations, retention and model-training terms. Legal professional privilege depends on the circumstances; a software feature or storage label does not guarantee it.

An e-signature integration may collect signatures after approval. The legal team determines whether that process is appropriate, including identity, witnessing and any exceptions. We do not promise automatic cross-jurisdiction compliance.

Validate a limited pilot

Choose a permitted document set with known answers. Have reviewers record missing fields, incorrect citations, overlooked issues and review time. Agree acceptance criteria and an escalation path before expanding the scope.

Compare the complete workflow cost, including preparation, human review, software, integration and maintenance. Released review time is capacity unless it changes actual expenditure or produces additional paid work. There is no fixed AI accuracy, error-rate or time-saving assumption on this page.

Does AI use guarantee legal professional privilege?

No. Privilege and confidentiality depend on the circumstances, purpose and handling of the material. Your legal team must assess the proposed use and provider terms before disclosing client documents.

What is the current small-business unfair-contract threshold?

The ACCC states that new or varied standard-form contracts from 9 November 2023 can be covered where a business has fewer than 100 employees or less than $10 million annual turnover. Have your lawyer assess the contract and applicable provisions; an automated flag is not a legal conclusion.

Can AI approve a contract or electronic signature?

The responsible reviewer approves the document and signing process. A workflow can track that approval and connect to an agreed signature service after the legal requirements have been checked.

Where will documents be processed?

That depends on the selected systems and configuration. Confirm processing locations, access, retention and training terms in the scope. This page does not assert a company-wide Australian-only hosting or certification status.

How will accuracy and value be measured?

Test on representative documents with reviewer-verified answers. Measure omissions and false flags alongside review time and total cost. A published benchmark for another system cannot establish your workflow’s performance.
